The Unbroken Thread

I am a lawyer, a mother of three, and an artist who came to painting by an unexpected path.

For most of my life, I relied on logic, responsibility, and strength. Painting taught me to speak about what words cannot always express: love, motherhood, closeness, separation, and the quiet transformation of relationships.

The Unbroken Thread was born from my relationship with my eldest daughter. Once, we were almost one. Then life and growing up created distance. I learned that love sometimes means allowing another person to become fully themselves.

The series is also about female lineage — the invisible thread connecting grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and generations yet to come. We inherit their strength, fears, tenderness, dreams, and unspoken words.

These works trace a journey from fusion, through separation, toward a new kind of closeness.

We are two different women, but the thread between us has never broken.
